Government has decided to introduce free higher education in public Tertiary Education Institutions (TEIs). Free education at that level will be the
norm irrespective of whether the courses are run on a part-time or full-time mode. With regard to courses run on a dual-campus mode as part of a
partnership agreement between a local public TEI and a foreign institution, students would be exempted from payment of tuition fees at the local
institution but would have to meet the tuition costs claimed by the foreign institution.
